It's a paradox, the Internet is so vast that often users can become jaded. [copied from Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradox A paradox can be an apparently true statement or group of statements that leads to a contradiction or a situation which defies intuition; or it can be, seemingly opposite, an apparent contradiction that actually expresses a non-dual truth (cf. Koan). Typically, either the statements in question do not really imply the contradiction, the puzzling result is not really a contradiction, or the premises themselves are not all really true or cannot all be true together. The word paradox is often used interchangeably with contradiction. Often, mistakenly, it is used to describe situations that are ironic.] Here, Article Critics presents a selection of links and information about cheap, low cost holidays in Malta. By : michael hood Submitted 2008-03-18 06:18:22 When you plan your holiday to Malta you will want to visit some of the popular areas where the fun and excitement is going on. Gozo is one of those areas. Calypso Cave is a great place to see. The caves are remarkable. It just amazes one to see how they look as well as the depth of them. Rumour has it that the nymph Calypso held her captive Odysseus in this cave. You can easily spend a half a day enjoying the beauty of the caves. The Ggantija Temple is another interesting place to visit. The architecture is amazing to see. Golden Bay and Ghajn Tuffieha Bay
The Traverse and Rock Scrabble a Cautionary Tale: At first the going was quite easy, as many people have trodden a narrow path that traverses the rocky shoreline at the foot of the shear cliffs. After about 20 minutes scrabble along the rocks, I found the perfect spot to setup my tripod and take 6 shots to form a 180 degree panoramic view of Golden Bay. Twenty minutes later; I found myself clinging on to a very tiny handhold 50 feet up a shear cliff face with nothing but jagged rocks and pounding waves below me! I can remember looking around and thinking, "well, couldn't have picked a more picturesque place to die". Ta' Kola Windmill, Xaghra, Gozo
360 degree panoramic image showing the Ta' Kola Windmill, Gozo, Malta. It was a VERY hot and sunny day. However, I used my "home-made" pano head and using the backup Pantax camera to take 12 shots around a 360 degree panoramic view. The tripod was setup in the shade of a small palm tree in the quiet village square garden directly opposite the windmill. This minimised the "flare" from direct sunlight that often spoils my full 360 camera lens. Ghajn Tuffieha Tower
360 degree panoramic image taken close to the Ghajn Tuffieha Tower located high on the cliffs separating Golden Bay and Ghajn Tuffieha Bay located on the north east coast of Malta. This is one of the many towers that were build during the times of the Knights of Malta. Try tilting the image down towards the sea to get an idea of how high the cliffs are and the spectacular view from the small plateau where the tower is positioned. Malta, Valletta Inner Harbour
360 degree panoramic image showing the inner harbour at Valetta. It was a VERY hot and sunny day, so once again there's quite a bit of over exposure. However, the crystal clear blue waters of the Mediterranean are clearly visible. GGANTIJA TEMPLES, GOZO
360 degree panoramic image showing the inner chamber of the Ggantija Temples located near the small village of Xaghra, Gozo, Malta. It was a VERY hot and sunny day, so once again there's quite a bit of over exposure. However, this time I got a bit smarter and used my hat to mask the direct sunlight on the curved lens. Some religious sites are just as beautiful to see. The St. George's Basilica and the Megalithic Temples are something to see. Holidays to Malta in the area of Gozo are interesting with all the things to do. You can visit the Gharb Folklore Museum. It is an interesting museum with many exhibits to view. You can spend the entire day just walking around looking at everything the museum has to see. Two other places to visit are Hondoq Bay and Ta' Cenc. Ta' Cenc is a formation that is somewhat intriguing. If you like the outdoors, you will enjoy visiting these two places.
The Mediterranean Sea is a great place to go swimming or just sit on the beach and feel the warmth of the sun. Every now and then, you will feel a warm breeze come from the sea that gives you a sense of peace. Swimming and scuba diving are some popular things to do. Windsurfing is another activity, but the best part of your holiday to Malta will be all the attractions and scenery you can see. You can also enjoy some great nighttime activities. The restaurants are also very interesting. The restaurants serve different cuisine from the area and from other countries.
If you want to do some hiking for your holiday to Malta, you can visit the Dwejra Point and Dwejra Bay. You will need to wear some comfortable and sturdy shoes, but you can see the Azure Window, Blue Hole, Fungus Rock and the Island Sea. The Fungus Rock is something of amazement. The fungus that grows on the rock is said to have medicinal purposes. It is surely something you will want to see. You can also visit Island Sea, which runs through a narrow tunnel in the cliffs to the Mediterranean Sea. There are boat trips available on non-windy days that take you through the tunnels as well as to see Fungus Rock and the Azure Window.
When you visit the Azure Window, you will see where the rough sea made a hole in the rock formation creating the window. If you visit on a day when the waves are crashing on shore, you will see a beautiful picture. You will enjoy your holiday to Malta. You will want to capture everything on video or camera to share with all your family and friends. ↑ Grab this Headline Animator OR AskJack a Question FOR FREE!

Most visitors to the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre at Edwinstowe take the short walk through the ancient oaks and birches of Birklands to visit the Major Oak - one of the most famous trees in England.
